IEEE 1680.1 End-of-Life Management Requirements Support

WHAT?

Our service focus on the support to producers for the fulfilment of the IEEE 1680.1 End-of-Life Management Requirements (4.4.1.1, 4.6.1.2, 4.6.2.1 and 4.8.4.1) to achieve a higher EPEAT score, making easier to get bronze, silver or gold label for their EEE.

EPEAT is a global rating and verification system that helps purchasers to evaluate, compare and select electronic products based on their environmental attributes and enables manufacturers to leverage the market recognition of their products.

WHOM DO WE HELP?

  • PC´s & Displays producers interested in registering products under EPEAT for achievement of EoL 4.6 requirements and 4.8.4.1.
  • PC´s & Displays producers keen in increasing the score for the optional criteria 4.6.2.1 – “Auditing of recycling vendors”, for specific EPEAT markets, to achieve a gold, silver or bronze label for their EEE.

  • We have developed our own standard for WEEE treatment TS.EW.001 – “Technical and Management Requirements for WEEE”, which was recognized as a compatible audit standard to fulfil EPEAT End-of-Life requirements for PC´s & Display (IEEE 1680.1).
