The United Kingdom will leave the European Union on 29 March 2019. The UK’s withdrawal impacts chemical compliance for companies that manufacture in, supply to or source substances from the UK.
- EU-based companies sourcing substances that rely on UK-based REACH registrations and authorisations need to ensure their continued compliance with REACH.
- UK-Based companies importing or manufacturing substances into the UK must comply with the new UK-REACH system.
- Non-UK and non-EU companies can appoint an Only Representative (OR) based in the UK or the EU to secure compliance for their customers in that jurisdiction.
H2 Compliance can help you identify Brexit related chemical compliance gaps and provide a tailored solution to close those gaps. We can support Registrations, Authorisation, Classification and Labelling and Biocides in both the UK and the EU. We can also act as your Only Representative in either the UK or the EU.
